The company emphasized that the new features are designed to help users be more productive across their phones, laptops, Bluetooth accessories, TVs, smart homes, and cars.

Some of the highlights include:

– Quick Share: A new solution for peer-to-peer content sharing across Android devices, integrating Google’s Nearby Share and Samsung’s Quick Share capabilities. Quick Share will also be available on Windows PCs from LG and other manufacturers.
– Fast Pair: A feature enabling quick pairing and connection of Bluetooth accessories to Android phones or Chromebooks, expanding to Chromecast with Google TV and other Google TV devices.
– Chromecast built-in: Allowing users to cast content from their phone to their TV or other devices, with added support for casting TikTok videos, live streams, and new car-optimized apps from Google Play.
– Matter integration: Helping users connect and control smart home devices from various brands, with LG TVs and select Google TV and other Android TV OS devices acting as hubs for Google Home.
Google also unveiled updates for Android Auto and cars with Google built-in, including real-time battery information sharing with Google Maps for electric vehicles, sending trips from the phone to the car display, and accessing Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more on Google Play directly on the car’s display.
