Komainu, a digital asset custody service, has received approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate as a custodial wallet provider in compliance with regulations regarding money laundering and terrorist financing. This regulatory approval allows Komainu to offer cryptocurrency custody services and collateral management services within the United Kingdom through its Komainu Connect platform.

Nicolas Bertrand, CEO of Komainu, commented on the significance of this achievement and highlighted the UK’s role in financial technology and innovation. Komainu has also obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority and inclusion in Italy’s Official Asset Managers (OAM) registry.
