The eighth edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) will begin today, November 15, and run until November 17, 2023. The event will bring together leaders and experts in finance, technology, and public policy from around the world. This year’s central theme, “AI for good. AI for good?” will explore the opportunities and challenges of using AI to transform the financial sector and society. The SFF 2023 will also feature the Elevandi Insights Public-Private Roundtables, where senior representatives from the public and private sectors will discuss critical issues and trends in AI and FinTech.
Expected to attract over 60,000 attendees from over 100 countries, the SFF 2023 will offer events and activities both online and in person at various venues across Singapore. Project Greenprint, a collection of initiatives launched by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to enable a more transparent and efficient environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ecosystem, will also be discussed at the event.
The festival will provide a platform for the global FinTech community to exchange ideas and insights on how to harness AI for good and address the ethical and regulatory implications of AI. The event, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), recognizes AI as a crucial enabler for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
UnionBank of the Philippines will be a gold sponsor of the event and will showcase its trailblazing technologies in blockchain, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The bank will also highlight its digital journey and participation in discussion panels and speaking sessions.
