GoTyme Bank, a digital bank owned by the Gokongwei and Tyme groups, has surpassed 2 million customers, beating its 2023 target. This success is driven by its award-winning phygital model, which provides preferred banking services to all Filipinos. CEO Nate Clarke credits this rapid growth to the company’s 462 kiosks and its team of 1,400 bank ambassadors, which have contributed significantly to customer acquisition. The bank is on track to achieve profitability by 2025.

GoTyme Bank has received industry recognition and awards in 2023 for its emphasis on human interaction and customer support. It recently introduced a Flexible Financing product for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in partnership with payment gateway PayMongo, streamlining the application process and providing approval in real time.

The bank is heavily invested in its human workforce and technological capabilities, integrating AI to improve customer service and enhance cybersecurity. GoTyme also offers tools to educate customers on the secure use of digital banking platforms.

Through its phygital business model, GoTyme places a premium on access and convenience, with physical onboarding kiosks staffed by bank ambassadors enabling five-minute account opening and real-time card issuing. The bank also offers free funds transfers and deposits and withdrawals at Robinsons and Gokongwei retail counters.

GoTyme Bank focuses on simplifying savings and offers a 5% base interest rate for all savings account holders. They also provide innovative products to help customers unlock their financial potential and continue to be a “human digital bank.”
