Globe Retains Title as Most Reliable Mobile Network in the Philippines for the Fifth Consecutive Time
Globe, the leading telecommunications company in the Philippines, has once again been recognized as the Most Reliable Mobile Network in the country by Ookla®, a global leader in internet testing and analysis. This achievement marks the fifth consecutive win for Globe in terms of network reliability.
The accolade is based on an analysis of Speedtest Intelligence® data by Ookla®, which evaluated the network performance of mobile operators in the Philippines. Globe emerged as the winner in terms of reliability for Q2 2022, Q3 2022, Q4 2022, Q1 2023, and Q1-Q2 2023. In the latest assessment covering the first half of 2023, Globe had the highest Consistency Score™ of 83.64% and was the most available all-technology mobile network, with a score of 92.63%.
To determine network reliability, Ookla® considers two key metrics: All Technology Consistency and All Technology Availability. Globe consistently achieved high scores in both categories, securing its position as the most reliable mobile network in the Philippines.
Globe’s journey to network supremacy began in Q2 2022 when it first surpassed its competitors in terms of reliability. The company achieved a Consistency Score™ of 79.44% and the highest all-technology mobile network Availability at 93.11%. It maintained its momentum in the subsequent quarter, reaching a Consistency Score™ of 82.55% and an Availability score of 92.03%. In Q4 2022, Globe further improved its Consistency Score™ to 83.13%, with an Availability score of 92.38%.
